📌 Reservations & Confirmations
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid 45 days prior to the commencement of the tour. Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation. A reservation is considered confirmed once the 50% deposit has been received.
We prefer payments via bank wire transfer, subject to prevailing bank charges. We also accept debit/credit card payments (MasterCard, VISA, and American Express) through secure PesaPal merchant processing. An official invoice will be issued once you are ready to proceed with your booking. All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD), though local currency may be accepted at the current dollar-buying exchange rate.
❌ Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations, reductions in stay, or changes in participant numbers are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. Refunds will be processed less any hotel cancellation charges, administrative costs, or applicable service fees.
Cancellation charges are as follows:

More than 30 days before start date: Full refund less administrative fees.

Between 29 and 3 days before start date: 50% refund.

Within 48 hours of start date or on the day of travel: Non-refundable.
Failure to join a tour after departure or leaving before completion will not qualify for a refund. However, if covered under your travel insurance policy, you may claim directly from your insurer subject to their terms and conditions.
🚐 Transportation
We provide well-maintained safari vehicles including 4WD Land Cruisers, 4×4 Toyota minibuses/tour vans with pop-up roofs, overland safari trucks, and suitable transfer vehicles depending on route and group size. Roaming Africa Tours & Safaris reserves the right to use alternative vehicles where necessary and may employ subcontractors for certain services. Professional English-speaking driver-guides are provided for all tours.
🏨 Accommodation
Accommodation is based on two persons sharing a double or twin room. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed. Hotels and lodges listed in itineraries indicate the category, and similar properties may be substituted based on availability.
🔄 Alterations to Tours
Roaming Africa Tours & Safaris reserves the right to alter or cancel scheduled tours if necessary due to operational or unforeseen circumstances. The company may also decline to accept or retain any tour participant, in which case an equitable refund will be made. Prices are based on prevailing tariffs at the time of reservation and are subject to change without notice.
⚖️ Liability
Roaming Africa Tours & Safaris acts as an agent for accommodation providers, transport services, and other suppliers, and shall not be held liable for injury, delays, loss, or damage arising from services provided by third parties. Liability for passengers carried in company vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that country.
The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for part or all services and shall not be responsible for loss or damage to luggage or personal belongings.
